Alvin Ashiatey
Alvin Ashiatey is a designer and full stack developer from Ghana, currently living and working in New Haven. He the 2022 Post Graduate Fellow at Center for Collaborative Arts and Media (CCAM) at Yale + School of Art + Blended Reality. He is interested in the intersection of design and technology, developing works that investigate A.I, language and migration from an African perspective.
Aside from previous teaching at Rutgers University and Graduate Research Assistant at Yale Beinecke Library, Alvin’s recent projects including the book jacket of Geoff Kaplan’s After The Bauhaus, Before The Internet, and the CCAM-CALENDAR-INTERFACE (fig.). Alvin holds a MFA from Yale School of Art in Graphic Design, and a BFA from Kwame Nkrumah’ University of Science and Technology in Painting.
